Murchison Falls National is known to be the most powerful waterfalls in the world On River Nile the Longest River in the world. Every second, the equivalent of 200 bathtubs full of water is forced through a gorge less than seven paces wide. This water falls with great pressure.
This falls is in the heart of Kabalega national park (Former King of Bunyoro kitara Kingdom) now also known as Murchison Falls National Park which is considered Class A destination in Uganda known for the best game drives, which habits over 140 mammals such as; Lion aka “The Jungle King” antelopes, African bush elephants, giraffe, leopards, spotted Hyenas, so many herbivores and carnivores in the Northern Part of the Park. A number of East African Birds (over 550)are present in this park and can be seen along the Nile as you cruise towards the bottom of the Like the shoe-bill, Horn bill, red winged grey warbler, crested Crane ( Uganda’s national Bird) This Park lies at the northern end of the Albertine Rift Valley in Bunyoro. It blessed with woodlands in the southern bank. It’s Ugandan’s oldest and largest Park being first gazetted as a game reserve in 1926.
